Yu Cheng Yew came into software through business intelligence and data engineering, and has spent a decade building the systems that sit behind reporting, integration and operations. He started at HSBC Development Malaysia, maintaining the Sales and Portfolio Management system that calculated and analysed relationship-manager KPIs for internal bank use, running full batch cycles of up to a thousand jobs through UAT and SIT and working alongside colleagues in China, Hong Kong, France and India.

In Singapore he broadened from reporting into end-to-end systems delivery. At I-Access Solutions he supported and enhanced live client systems, migrated data off legacy platforms, and built SingPass and e-Services authorisation integration for a government education portal along with SkillsFuture Credit functionality for training management systems. At Bollore Logistics Asia Pacific he developed the API and EDI layer exchanging data between the logistics system and warehouse vendors, tuned stored procedures to stop database blocking, and supported production deployment across twenty-four countries. At Shopee Singapore he automated shipping reporting in Python, built Flask APIs for internal business tools, and produced the performance analysis behind major sales events.

He co-founded the practice in 2019 and leads IT operations. The warehouse modelling, ETL pipelines, monitoring and ongoing support that clients rely on after launch sit under him, informed by a discipline shaped in regulated banking release cycles and high-volume commerce.

A software engineer turned technology entrepreneur, Yap Kaa Sheng brings over a decade of delivery experience spanning global banking, enterprise ERP and custom product development. He began his career at HSBC Software Development in Kuala Lumpur, building applications for the bank’s international operations inside a highly regulated environment of formal SDLC, peer code review and controlled releases. He moved on to Hitachi eBworx, building digital banking and lending modules for regional banking clients across Asia Pacific, then to Bursa Malaysia-listed IFCA MSC Bhd as a senior developer on enterprise ERP and property management software for large multi-entity clients in property and construction.

He co-founded the practice in 2019 and leads its technical function. He owns architecture and delivery across the full stack, from Node.js APIs and React portals to Flutter mobile applications and MySQL data layers on AWS. His delivery discipline is deliberately conservative for a software firm: requirements are locked in writing and scope confirmed by the client before development starts, proof-of-concept validation is required ahead of any fixed-fee commitment, and every automated pipeline carries a mandatory human review gate before code reaches production.

His delivered systems run across insurtech, food and beverage point-of-sale and multi-outlet ordering, legal practice management with LHDN e-invoicing, property rental, membership and loyalty, driver and fleet management, renovation marketplaces and e-commerce. Alongside the technical function he handles company setup and governance — incorporation, PDPA data protection, Malaysia Digital status and ISO 27001 readiness — and works fluently in English and Chinese with clients across the region.
